1. Seller’s Identification
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are those of LINNAEUS, a Swiss société à responsabilité limité, having its registered office at rue Verdaine – 1204 Geneva – Switzerland, registered with the Geneva Trade and Companies Registry under number CH-660.1.197.997-4. 2. Scope of Application and Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The purchase of any Products offered on the www.regnefils.com website (hereafter known as the “Site”) is subject to these terms and conditions of sale for the Site ("Terms and Conditions of Sale"). RÈGNE FILS Products are exclusively intended to be sold to end consumers, natural persons or corporations, with the exclusion of all resellers or intermediaries acting on behalf of resellers. Consequently, the customer affirms that it is acting as the end consumer and does not intend to resell the RÈGNE FILS Products for commercial purposes.
LINNAUES may update these Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. You can view the applicable version of the Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time by email at contact@regnefils.com. The Terms and Conditions of Sale applicable at the time of entering into the contract of sale are those which are binding on you.
In addition, for each purchase of Products on the Site, you will be requested to confirm your acceptance of the current Terms and Conditions of Sale applicable at the date of your order. The said terms and conditions may be viewed prior to and at the moment when you are prompted to confirm that you accept them. To indicate your acceptance, you will need to check the box “I have read and accept the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use of the regnefils.com website, as well as the Privacy Policy.”
3. Ordering Methods
The Site may be used to order a selection of RÈGNE FILS brand products (hereafter the “Product(s)”) from LINNAEUS, directly online via the Internet for delivery to the UK, Mainland France, Monaco, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands (excluding the Netherland Antilles and Aruba), Spain (excluding the Canary Islands), Portugal (excluding Azores Island and Madeira), Italy, Ireland, Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Poland (see section "8.1 Delivery and Collection Area" below).
You may also place your order by phone at +41223101212 from Monday to Friday (except public holidays), from 10am to 6pm and Saturday, 11am to 5pm (GMT+2).
The Site does not permit the placing of special orders that notably consist in the creation of a product that does not exist in our current range of products, or is no longer in the RÈGNE FILS collection, a bespoke product or the adaptation or customization of a product from RÈGNE FILS collections, and the manufacturing of the latter by LINNAEUS. These Terms and Conditions of Sale therefore do not apply to special orders. 4. Availability of Products
Our Product offers and prices are valid as long as they remain visible on the Site, subject to availability. Exceptionally, errors or changes may be made, especially in cases of simultaneous orders of the same Product by several customers. If a Product is unavailable after ordering, we will inform you of such unavailability by email or by phone as soon as possible. You will then be presented with the choice to order an alternative Product from the Site or to cancel your order.
LINNAEUS shall not liable if Products are out of stock or unavailable for orders that have not yet been accepted by LINNAEUS.
LINNAEUS reserves the right to change the Products offered on the Site at any time and without any prior notice. In order to improve service quality and ensure greater availability of our Products for all customers of the Site, LINNAEUS reserves the right to limit the number of Products which can be purchased per customer.
5. Ordering Procedure
5.1. Selecting Products
You may at any time add Products to your selection by clicking on "Purchase", and choose to complete your order or continue shopping.
You may view your selection by hovering over it or by clicking on "your cart" in the menu on the top right hand side, where photograph(s) of the Product(s), colour and reference number(s), the quantity selected, unit price(s), and the subtotal for the selection will be displayed. You can also choose the country of delivery and your preferred shipping method in order to calculate the shipping costs and as a result the total amount payable. The delivery area and shipping costs may however be changed at a later stage if you wish, and the total amount will be recalculated accordingly.
5.2. Login
Once you have selected the Product(s), click on "complete your order" to begin the process of placing your order.
If you already have a customer account, you will be required to log in and enter your password at this stage.
If you do not yet have an account, you will be prompted to create one by confirming your email address and subsequently creating a password at the “Payment” stage. If using the mobile version of the Site, you will be asked to enter this information when logging in.
Your login and password are strictly for personal use. Consequently, you undertake to store them safely and never disclose them to third parties. You may be held liable for any loss, theft or fraudulent use of your customer account if you have not taken reasonable care; and you must inform Hermès immediately if you become aware of any third party gaining access to your login, password or account.
Once you have created an account you will be able to:
- monitor your deliveries and view your order history;
- return or exchange Products;
- add or edit your delivery and billing addresses for future orders;
- manage your subscription to the Hermès newsletter.
The data recorded by the Site constitutes proof of all transactions made between LINNAEUS and its customers. In the event of a dispute between LINNAEUS and one of its customers about a transaction made on the Site, the data recorded by LINNAEUS will be considered as irrefutable proof of the content of the transaction.
You may have your account deactivated at any time by sending an email to the Customer Service by email at contact@regnefils.com. After your account has been deactivated, you are free to create a new one at any time.
5.3. Order confirmation
5.3.a) Confirmation of shipping informations
You will be required to enter the delivery details needed to ship your order successfully: shipping country, title, surname, first name, phone number, delivery address. Once you have completed this step, click “confirm”.
5.3.b) Confirmation of payment method and payment of order
You may use your delivery address as your billing address or enter a different address. You will then be prompted to select a payment method and enter the relevant information.
At the end of the ordering procedure described above, once you have accepted in their entirety the Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use herein and the Privacy Policy for the Site, click the "Confirm and pay" button. The contract of sale is definitively formed at this point.
You must carefully check that your selection is correct before confirming your order. While every effort is made to ensure that the colour and design of the Products in the photographs displayed on the Site match those of the original Products, variations may occur, in particular due to colour display constraints on your computer equipment. Consequently, LINNAEUS shall not be held liable for any error or insubstantial inaccuracy in the photographs or graphic representations of the Products included on the Site. In the event of queries regarding the Products, you may of course contact our Customer Service.
For more information concerning payment methods (currency, methods of payment accepted, etc.), please refer to the section "6. Price – Methods of Payment Accepted" below.
When finished, your order is transmitted to LINNAEUS for processing.
LINNAEUS reserves the right to not accept any order placed by a customer with whom it has a dispute concerning a prior order, or if LINNAEUS has reasonable cause to suspect that such customer has violated these Terms and Conditions, or is engaged in any fraudulent activity, or on any other legitimate grounds.
5.3.c) Confirming the order
You will subsequently receive an order summary by email. The acknowledgement of receipt will mention the total amount of the order, details of the shipping cost and delivery time, the essential characteristics, the quantity and the price and of the Products purchased.
We advise you to keep this acknowledgement of receipt as a hard copy or in an electronic format.
When an order concerns an amount equal to or greater than 120 Euros, LINNAEUS shall retain the document that embodies the contract entered into electronically between LINNAEUS and a customer for a period starting from the entering into of the contract until the date of delivery of the product and for a period of ten years from this date. You may access this document at any time upon request to the Customer Service by email at contact@regnefils.com or by phone at +41223101212 from Monday to Friday (except public holidays), from 10am to 6pm and Saturday, 11am to 5pm (GMT+2), and upon proof of your identity.
6. Price – Methods of Payment Accepted
6.1. Price
The prices of the Products are in EUR, inclusive of taxes. Except in the cases of reimbursement issued i) within the context of exercising the right of withdrawal or ii) due to lack of conformity and hidden defects, LINNAEUS will not reimburse the VAT applied on the purchases made on the Site (even in the event where the buyer, after receipt of the Products, re-exports them to a country located outside the European Union).
LINNAEUS reserves the rights to amend the prices of the Products on the Site at any time and without any prior notice. Products are invoiced on the basis of a price list posted on the Site at the time of your order, subject to the availability of the Products ordered at this time.
All orders are payable in EUR and must be paid for immediately at the time of ordering. If any of the ordered Products are unavailable (see Section 4 "Product Availability"), only the price and the shipping costs of the available Products will be charged.
6.2. Methods of Payment Accepted
6.2.a) Payment by credit card or debit card
We accept payment by the following credit cards and debit cards: Visa®, Mastercard®. Payments by debit card are authenticated and secured thanks to the 3D Secure system. This system is also known under the names of "Verified by Visa®" or "MasterCard® SecureCode". During payment, the bank asks the Internet user for his/her personal information in order to check the identity of the card holder and to validate the transaction.
6.2.b) Store credit
Store credit issued by RÈGNE FILS stores and gift cards issued by RÈGNE FILS stores cannot be used to purchase Products on the Site.
7. Title Retention
The Products ordered remain the property of LINNAEUS until full payment for the Products has been received by LINNAEUS.
However, you assume the risks (in particular regarding loss, theft or damage) relating to the delivered Products from the moment they are delivered to the address specified when placing your order.
8. Delivery and receipt
Items can only be delivered in Switzerland and Europe, to the address provided by the Customer at the time of ordering. The Customer must provide a telephone number where they can be contacted by the delivery company, and take every necessary step to ensure they can take receipt of the delivery. The Customer is also able to request that items be delivered to a natural person of their choice whose permanent place of residence is in mainland France, for example in the case of a gift.
The Customer may choose from a number of available delivery options, some of which will incur additional costs.
Delivery charges are paid by LINNAEUS, except in cases where the Customer opts for one of the specific delivery methods offered during ordering, where the delivery charges must be borne by them; the total of these charges will be communicated to the Customer prior to their completion of the order.
Items will be delivered to the delivery address indicated by the Customer at the time of ordering, at the latest by the date indicated at the time of ordering and depending on the country of delivery.
LINNAEUS will make every effort to deliver the Order within 7 working days following the date of the Order, and commits to ensure that delivery is made within 30 working days following full payment of the corresponding total cost of the order.
Delivery times are provided indicatively and may be subject to change, especially in cases of force majeure, temporary unavailability, etc. ... The Customer shall not hold LINNAEUS responsible for any failure to adhere to these delivery times. If the delivery time exceeds 30 days after ordering, the purchase may be cancelled and the Customer fully refunded.
Items ordered are presumed shipped and received in good order. The Customer must make any complaints to the delivery company in case of loss or damage of their order at the time of delivery or within a maximum of 24 hours following the latter. Complaints must be explicit to allow LINNAEUS to assert their rights against the delivery company. Failing this, the complaint is null and void. Any complaints must also be addressed within the same timeframe to customer services at www.regnefils.com by email or by recorded letter with proof of delivery. Any complaint must contain the Customer’s contact details, references of the project purchased and the reasons and motivations for the complaint accompanied by photos. A complaint number may be issued by LINNAEUS to process the claim. Should a product be returned without a complaint number and without a copy of the invoice (which must be provided) LINNAEUS cannot guarantee that the complaint will be processed as quickly as otherwise possible. The product must be returned in its original condition and packaging, unworn, with all original tags unremoved from the item of clothing, as well as with all accessories, which should be intact, without signs of use and in perfect condition. These conditions will determine the claim’s validity and ensure the Product’s integrity and proof of the validity of the cause of the complaint. Failure to respect the aforementioned procedure and conditions will render the Customer’s claim null and void. The transport of returned Items is carried out at the risk and cost of the Customer.
Complaints regarding any delivery error relating to the order, or in case of delivery of a product which is faulty or in poor condition, must be made within a maximum of 48 hours following delivery. Beyond this timeframe, the Customer can no longer claim a delivery error or seek remedy for a delivered Product which is faulty or in poor condition.
10. Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to EU Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and European Council of the 25th October 2011 on consumer rights in the framework of distance selling, as transposed into law in the Customer’s country, the latter is within their rights to cancel their order at any time within 14 calendar days following the date upon which they received the Items.
If the Customer is not satisfied with Items ordered online, they may exercise their right to withdrawal without giving a reason. They then have 14 days from the date of delivery of the Items to return them.
In this case, the Customer must notify their decision to cancel their order in writing in a clearly-worded statement not open to ambiguity by post with proof of delivery, by completing the withdrawal form by copying the following information:

Simultaneously, the Customer must contact our Customer Service by email at contact@regnefils.com or by phone at +41223101212 from Monday to Friday (except public holidays), from 10am to 6pm and Saturday, 11am to 5pm (GMT+2) to return to LINNAEUS the Product subject to the withdrawal, within the same time limit.
The Product must be returned in new condition and undamaged, otherwise it will not be accepted or refunded.
. Furthermore, original packaging must be carefully protected to avoid any damage to boxes or cases.
The return costs shall be borne by the Customer, pursuant to the provisions of Article L.121-21-3 of the Consumer code as well as any taxes or customs duties.
Once the returned Items have been inspected, LINNAEUS shall refund the Customer the full amount paid for their Order (including delivery charges in the case of an order using Express delivery for which all items have been returned) as soon as possible and at the latest within thirty (30) calendar days following the date of receipt of the returns package to the bank account or payment account which the Customer used to pay for the Items.
Cases of exclusion of customer’s right of withdrawal:
Pursuant to Article L 121-20-2 of the consumer code, the right of withdrawal foreseen for distance selling may not be exercised, unless both parties have agreed otherwise, for the supply of tailor-made goods made to the customer’s specifications or highly personalised or which, due to their nature, cannot be reshipped or are likely to deteriorate or perish quickly.
11. Procedure for Returns and Refunds
11.1. Returns to the regnefils.com Site
11.1.a) Procedure for return
Should a delivery not correspond to the Customer’s Order, or if it has been damaged in transit, the Customer may return said Item to LINNAEUS in accordance with the procedure below and accessible on the Site.
All Items purchased on the Site may be subject to refund except for those for which the opposite is stipulated (for example, personalised items).
It is recalled that Items purchased on the Site cannot be refunded in-store.
This refund procedure excludes all exchanges, so that the Customer is not subject to wait times and conditions of exchange procedures likely to cause major inconvenience to them.
No exchanges are permitted. Should the Customer wish to exchange a Product, they must return it for refund according to the terms herein and purchase a new Product of their choice on the Site.
Once returned Items have been inspected, LINNAEUS will refund the Customer as soon as possible and no later than thirty (30) calendar days following the date of reception of the return package, to the bank account or the payment account used by the Customer to pay for the Items.
The Customer’s refund request must be made within 14 days following the date of receipt of the Items ordered, as evidenced by the postmark. Where the 14 day period expires on a Saturday, Sunday, bank holiday or non-working day, this is extended to the next working day.
The Customer shall return the Product to LINNAEUS in its original condition (packaging, tags retained, copy of invoice, Product unworn and without alterations).
LINNAEUS shall fully refund the Customer for Items returned provided they have not been worn, used or damaged and that they are accompanied by their invoice and that the clothes have their original tags.
LINNAEUS reserves the right to refuse the return of any Items which are not compliant with the aforementioned conditions.
To return articles already received the client may, as they wish:
Avail themselves of an item collection service, in a place of their choice. In this case the Customer should contact Customer Services on +41223101212, within fourteen (14) days, in order to agree a collection time and date for the Item(s) by LINNAEUS. Refund of any sums paid for returned Item(s) shall be made within fourteen (14) days following the date on which the Customer has notified LINNAEUS or their intention to return the item.The Customer must retain proof of the return. The refund will be made within fourteen (14) days following receipt by LINNAEUS of the items returned in perfect condition.
Please note: LINNAEUS accepts no responsibility in case of products returned using a method other than via their delivery service and cannot make any refund if the product returned is not in identical condition to the one delivered.
11.1.b) Retention of title clause
LINNAEUS retains ownership of Items sold until full and effective payment of the principal amount due and incidentals. Until full payment, the Customer shall not confer any pledge or guarantee on retained-title products or use them as a guarantee, and they must treat the Item from LINNAEUS on an individual basis.
These conditions are without prejudice to the transfer to the Customer, upon delivery of the Product under these T&Cs, of all risks of loss and damage to the goods subject to the retention of title, as well as their liability for any damages caused. The Customer shall therefore take out insurance to cover the risks relating to the Product from the receipt of the latter.
11.1.c) Gifts ordered on the regnefils.com Site
Only the customer having purchased the gift may ask for a refund in the context of the right of withdrawal (insofar as it is only possible to recredit the bank account of the person having ordered the product).
12. Legal and commercial guarantees
12.1. Legal guarantees

LINNAEUS will deliver a Product to you that is consistent with the sales contract and free from any defects upon delivery of said Product, in that the Product will be as described, fit for purpose, of satisfactory quality and be installed correctly (if installation has been agreed as part of the contract). If the Product does not comply with these requirements you have certain legal rights: in accordance with applicable consumer law, during the expected lifespan of the Product, you are entitled to the following: (a) up to 30 days after delivery, if the Product is faulty you can get a full refund; and (b) up to 6 months after delivery, if the Product is faulty and it can't be repaired or replaced by us, then you can get a full refund in most cases; and (c) up to 6 years after delivery if the Product does not last a reasonable length of time you may be entitled to some money back. 12.2. Commercial warranty
Some Products sold on the website also come with a commercial warranty in addition to the legal guarantees stipulated in the preceding Article. The content and terms of implementation for this commercial warranty are available on the Website in the «Contact» tab, before purchasing any product affected by this warranty.
13. After-sales service and availability of replacement parts
An after-sales service is provided for any product that is technically repairable. For any repairs, please contact our Customer Services.
LINNAEUS cannot guarantee a period of availability for spare parts required for the use of Products. Nevertheless, LINNAEUS will do its utmost to satisfy its Customers in the event that one or more parts is requested.
14. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances may LINNAEUS be held liable for any damage not resulting from a failure on the part of LINNAEUS to comply with one of its obligations.
15. Governing Law - DisputesThese Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed and construed in accordance with Swiss law. However, in accordance with Regulation EC 593/2008 of 17 June 2008, these Terms and Conditions shall not preclude compliance on the part of LINNAEUS with a provision that is more favourable to the customer, and which shall apply in full by agreement, under the law where the customer has their habitual residence.
In the event of a dispute related to fulfilment of an order, you may have recourse to a conventional mediation procedure or to any other alternative procedure for settlement of a dispute.
If your complaint is about a product, our website or anything else, please use our customer service phone number or email address, available on the contact us page of our website.
You may also be eligible to lodge your complaint on the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform which is available at www.ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Notwithstanding the above, in the event of a dispute, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation No. 44/2001 of 22 December 2000:
- you may file a claim either before the courts where you are domiciled, or before the Swiss courts,
- LINNAEUS may file a claim before the courts where you are domiciled.
